Call for abstracts is just open for the next 9th Odour & VOC/Air Emission Conference of the International Water Association (IWA). The event will take place in Bilbao, Spain the 26-27 of October 2021. Abstracts for oral and poster session are more than welcome. Submission deadline is the 15th of December.

We are very excited to announce that the next 9th IWA Odour & VOC/Air Emission Conference will take place the 26-27 of October 2021 in Bilbao, Spain. This time, the conference is organized by our fantastic dream team at Olores.org. The IWA Odour and Air Emissions Conferences is one of the worldwide leading odour conferences. These events bring together engineers, scientists, researchers, students, local authorities, managers and other professionals in order to address and discuss emerging odour issues.
During the last meeting of the IWA Specialist Group on "Odours and Volatile Emissions", it was decided that the city that will host the IWA conference on odours and volatile emissions in 2021 will be Bilbao, Spain. This conference will be organized for the first time by Olores.org. Authors wishing to participate in this conference are invited to submit abstracts by email or online via the official website (not available yet).
The 14th of October a representation of the IWA Odours and Volatile Emissions specialist group met in Hangzhou, China, to discuss several issues related to the organization of the event. In addition, some proposals were made to host next IWA 2021 Odour and VOCs Conference.
A small but significant group met during the conference in Hangzhou to discuss several issues related to the organization of the conference. This meeting was chaired by Mr Witherspoon, and Mr Liu acted as secretary. The idea was to have some general comments and impressions about the conference in Hangzhou and to discuss future improvements. In addition, some proposals for the next city to host the event were presented.
