    Put your brand at the heart of the largest event on odour and VOCs emission management! The 9^th IWA Odour & VOC/Air Emission Conference that will be held in Bilbao on the 26^th and the 27^th of October 2021.    This conference unites experts of different areas, such as engineers, scientists, investigators and so on, under the same roof to discuss odour management over the course of two days. We invite you to present your products or services and participate in the 9th Odour & VOC/Air Emission Conference of the International Water Association (IWA).

   We are organizing a 1-hour workshop with Mr. Ralf Both, a German expert on odour regulations that participated in a recent paper on the subject. This workshop that will take place on the 25th of October 2021 in Bilbao, Spain, will deal with the changes that are about to be included on the coming renewal of the German legislation on Air Quality (TA Luft) regarding odour management.

   The German Guideline on Odour in Ambient Air (GOAA) has been around for a good couple of decades, but it was just this... a Guideline. In the last week of May the Federal Council of Germany approved the amendment of the TA Luft and now the odour impact criteria set in the GOAA will be incorporated into the TA Luft, meaning that the GOAA will no longer be a Guidance, but it will become an odour regulation. There are chances that the TALuft will be updated on the time the conference is taking place and that is why we asked to Mr. Both about organizing this workshop.

   The organizing committee of the next IWA Odours 2021 Conference has decided to extend the early bird registration deadline for two more weeks. The new closing date will be the 15^th of August. Not registered yet in IWA Odours 2021? Don't delay it any longer! Take advantage of the early bird registration fee while it's available!

   The registration period began earlier in the summer and will remain open until the 25^th of October 2021. Although the Early Bird registration period was supposed to end on the 31st July, the organizers have decided to extend the offer which will now end on the 15^th of August. Places are limited at the conference and so, we encourage you to secure your place by signing up as soon as possible to avail of this offer and avoid disappointment!

   The health and well-being of our guests and colleagues is always our top priority. We strictly follow the measures that the Basque government have announced for people staying in the Basque Country. A dedicated project leader will be appointed to ensure we comply with all measures.

   The Consorcio de Aguas de Bilbao-Bizkaia (in short, CABB) is a public company founded in 1967. Their goal was to guarantee the water supplies of the area known as Gran Bilbao.
