The International Symposium on Olfaction and Electronic Nose (ISOEN) is organizing the 19th conference in the city of Aveiro, Portugal. ISOEN 2022 provides a forum for scientists, engineers and practitioners to share their latest findings, innovations and products in the area of artificial chemoreception.
The “Olfaction & Electronic Nose Symposium” is organized by the International Society for Olfaction and Chemical Sensing (ISOCS), as an event to share knowledge between other specialists in the areas of artificial taste and olfaction. This conference is lately organized in a rotating way in Europe, America and Asia. This time is the go for Europe and that is why it is being celebrated in Portugal in the city of Aveiro.
These events are usually not focused only on environmental odour management. In fact this subject use to be a minor part of the event. Nonetheless, if you are interested in artificial olfaction, this is the place to go, together with the Digital Olfaction Society conferences, of course.
The “Olfaction & Electronic Nose Symposium” was launched in 1994 in Toulouse (France). The reasons for the creation of this symposium were to strengthen information exchange by with the objective to present high-quality research, promote interactions of professionals for the advancement of odour characterization, and analyse complex product variation.
