nose2016   The NOSE2016 is just here. In about a month, the 5th International Conference on Environmental Odour Monitoring & Control (NOSE2016) will take place in Ischia, Italy. From the 28th of September and during 3 days, some of the most important experts on odour management from Europe will be there. Every two years, this conference organized by the Italian Association of Chemical Engineering (AIDIC) with the help of the University Politecnico di Milano, has earned a well deserved position on the list of to-attend conferences about odour management.

The aim of the NOSE conference series is to give the opportunity to the scientific and industrial community members from all over the world to meet, exchange experiences and ideas, as well as discuss the main innovations related to odours. The first NOSE Conference took place in Rome in 2008 and slowly, it has been growing every two years as a date to tick in the calendar of events.

The preliminary program is already published and it is packed with very interesting presentations. We are looking forward to meet the experts in the field of odour and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) emission assessment. In addition, this year there will be a very comprehensive section about the very important question of the effect and determination of the exposure to odours. The session about Policy and Regulations has very interesting presentations from experts in countries like Italy, Austria, The Netherlands and Malaysia.
