Preconference workshop during the 8th IWA Odour & VOC/Air Emission Conference 14-17 October 2019 Hangzhou, China

IWA workshop   The organization committee of the 8th IWA Odour & VOC/Air Emission Conference that will take place in Hangzhou, China is arranging a couple of pre conference workshops for the 13th of October 2019, a day before the event commences. These workshops are aimed to people wishing to have some introduction on odour management before the conference starts. This way it will be a more productive trip for newbies and attendees who wish to have a short introduction on the subjects discussed during the conference.

Although these are common workshops on odour management, there is nothing ordinary about the people that are participating in them. If you have been around odour management for a while, you probably know Richard Stuetz, Günther Schauberger, Martin Piringer, Jay Witherspoon, Mel Suffet, Jean-Michel Guillot and Weifang Li, and other not so known but with interesting profiles such as Ademir Abdala, and Dr. Jing Gen.

The workshops will probably take place at the College of Biosystems Engineering and Food Science of the Zhejiang University from 09:00 to 18:00, but this is not confirmed yet. The first workshop will deal with "Measurement Techniques" and the second one will focus on "Modelling and control odorous emissions".
