Workshop on the forecoming changes regarding odours in the new German regulation on air quality

ralf bothWe are organizing a 1-hour workshop with Dr. Ralf Both, a German expert on odour regulations who participated in a recent paper on this subject. This workshop will take place on the 25th of October 2021 in Bilbao, Spain, and will provide an insight into the changes that will be included within the upcoming renewal of German legislation on Air Quality (TA Luft) regarding odour management.

The German Guideline on Odour in Ambient Air (GOAA) has been present for over two decades, but it reained only as a guideline. In the last week of May the Federal Council of Germany approved that the amendment of the TA Luft and now odour impact criteria set in the GOAA will be incorporated into the TA Luft, meaning that the GOAA will attain the status of an odour regulation. It is possible that the TALuft will be updated while the conference is taking place and so, it is a timely opoortunity to have Dr. Both delivering this workshop at the conference.

Mr Both is a well recognized odour expert who has been dealing with odour management for may years. In fact, he is one of the pioneers of the EN 13725. He is involved with the organization of the bioanual conference on odour management of the VDI, including the upcoming one.
